The rain forest with many species covers 2/3 of Congo which besides shelters the most important deep water port of the Gulf of Guinea: Pointe-Noire.
The Climate is warm and wet, the dry season is spreading out from June till October. The region of Kouilou offers among others two original natural sites to be discovered:
Gorges of Diosso and the Sanctuary of the chimpanzees of Conkouati. Near the economic capital: tarpon fishing also attracts thrill-seekers. The Victory Palace hotel splendidly decorated is situated downtown one hour flight from Brazzaville.
